Our Company

Szigetvári és Társa Kft [Szigetvári & Co LLC] was founded in the spring of 2002. The company is specialized in carrying out underground construction projects. We prepare soil mechanics expert reports, make building failure analyses and dynamic probing, and we are also engaged in deep foundation and waling design, as well as - in cooperation with our partners - in construction thereof. Since our partner is specialized in pile foundations and waling with steel sheet piles, the majority of our design projects consist of such kind of tasks.

It is very important for us that our clients would always be well informed about what we consider the most suitable solution under the given circumstances. We always try to provide sufficient information for client decisions, from selecting the method of foundations to employing the most suitable technologies to pre-cost calculation.

We are proud of the fact that we can work together with partners who have great expertise and ample experience in the given field. Since we perform the majority of our tasks jointly, we also share our references. In this way we have conducted many soil mechanics investigations together with Mérnökgeológia Kft. Among these were a hotel in Hévíz, which is being built on the site of an old eel farm, a nine-level silo underground car park in Veszprém, Nagykanizsa, Miskolc and Zalaegerszeg, and numerous halls and roads in various parts of Western Transdanubia, just to mention a few. Working jointly with Fundament 2000 Kft, we designed pile foundations and waling for block of flats, department stores, a spa, and a school extension. In many cases we redesigned the foundations at the request of the customer or out of economic considerations. We are also constantly involved in the construction of the pile foundations and waling designed by us.
