.: Foundation and Waling Design
Almost all of our design projects were pile foundations or waling works realized by the
construction work of Fundament 2000 Kft. Our partner often has the existing foundation plan
redesigned to suit their own technology, or undertakes the construction projects from the
beginning with them providing the plans as well.
In both cases, the design work is carried out by Szigetvári és Társa Kft, putting to use our
own, and Fundament 2000 Kft's, practical experience and load testing results. Thanks to this,
we can design economical solutions with sometimes shorter completion time than the one in the
original plans, which, under poor soil conditions, are the most favourable solutions possible
for our customers. At the first step in the design process we usually carry out auxiliary
soil mechanics investigations, if they are needed. It is a great advantage that we perform
these additional investigations ourselves, because in this way we can already see the
preliminary results right after the explorations. We perform the structural calculations with
the help of a finite element software program developed for geotechnical tasks.
